Job Summary

Providing remote nutrition counseling, the part-time Registered Dietitian (State Licensed) will conduct intensive weight management education, support medication management for obesity-related comorbidities, and engage in remote patient monitoring while collaborating with healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via various communication methods
• Provide medication management support under physician supervision and engage in remote patient monitoring
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support behavior change and meet program metrics

Required qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration with state licensure
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed for patient coverage
• Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet access
• Demonstrated ability to adapt communication techniques for a diverse patient population
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week without holding full-time employment elsewhere
