Job Summary

Providing remote nutrition counseling, the part-time Registered Dietitian (State Licensed) will conduct intensive weight management education and collaborate with physicians to support patients with obesity-related comorbidities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition counseling and weight management education via various communication methods
• Engage in remote patient monitoring and support medication management for obesity
• Establish rapport with patients and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate behavior change

Required qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration with state licensure
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• Ability to maintain a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet
• Comfort with advanced technology, including electronic medical records
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week without full-time employment elsewhere
