Registered EEG Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registered Monitor Technician Reader.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform long-term monitoring of adult and pediatric patients using various recording instruments
• Present patient history, EEG and video data during daily rounds for staff physicians
• Write final reports detailing EEG patterns, seizure semiology, and other relevant findings

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T) with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Two years of recent technical experience in epilepsy long-term monitoring or routine EEG lab
• Experience with bedside monitoring systems is preferred
• Tech/computer experience is preferred
