Registered Nurse CDI Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDI Educator who will support the long-term success of the CDI program by leading provider education and training in clinical documentation integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CDI educational initiatives and identify knowledge gaps for providers
• Analyze data to enhance education and provide timely responses to CDI inquiries
• Collaborate with leadership to onboard CDI team members and conduct educational sessions

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred
• Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant Licensure required
• 5-7 years of Clinical Documentation Improvement experience required
• 5-7 years of Acute Medical/Surgical Care experience required
• 2-3 years of Educator experience with a strong understanding of CDI and coding regulations required
