Registered Nurse Charge Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Charge Auditor (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct defensive charge audits and special audit projects, ensuring accuracy of itemized bills and medical records
• Collaborate with teams to optimize the integrity of the Chargemaster and prepare reports on audit findings
• Research and communicate federal, state, and payor documentation and billing rules while staying current with regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field required
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience required
• Licensure or certification in relevant health information management or coding fields required
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM & CPT coding conventions and Medicare billing practices
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
