Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Consultant I to support Clinical Services teams in validating quality and process consistency on the Claims Processing Editing Engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for clinical information between internal partners and external customers
• Provide support and resources to clients regarding Coding Validation policies and quality issues
• Assist internal teams with the preparation of policy presentations and quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an active/unrestricted RN license
• Professional coder certification (CPC, CPC-H, CPC-P, or CCS-P), RHIT or RHIA certification
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of experience in Coding Validation and claims adjudication
• 1+ years of customer service or client management experience in a healthcare setting
