Registered Nurse Clinical Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Consultant Analyst - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess large claim notices for potential risks and set up claimants in POWER for ongoing risk assessment
• Educate internal and external customers on clinical trends and research medical conditions for appropriate treatment
• Assess claimants for cost containment opportunities and maintain timely follow-up on all claimants in POWER

Required Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 2+ years of experience in an ER, ICU, or Critical Care environment
• 2+ years of experience in an insurance or managed care company, or with a third-party administrator
• 1+ years of hands-on Excel experience
