Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Analyst 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient medical records to identify documentation improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with caregivers to enhance medical record documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure adherence to documentation guidelines and support the coding process to improve quality measures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Information Management
• Current Registered Nurse License or relevant health information certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, CDIP)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in acute care medical or surgical settings
• Preferred 2-4 years of experience in inpatient coding or clinical documentation improvement
• Clinical knowledge is essential for non-nursing candidates with health information credentials
