Registered Nurse Clinical Educator

Job Summary

To enhance documentation quality and coding accuracy, the full-time remote Clinical Documentation Integrity Educator will develop and deliver educational programs, analyze documentation trends, and collaborate with various teams to drive process improvements in inpatient acute care settings.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver education for Clinical Documentation Specialists and physicians on CDI best practices
• Analyze documentation and coding trends to identify quality improvement opportunities
• Partner with operational leaders to standardize workflows and ensure documentation supports accurate coding and regulatory compliance

Required qualifications:

• Active U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 3-5 years of inpatient acute care CDI and auditing experience
• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical, ICU, telemetry, or emergency department setting
• Strong knowledge of CDI practices, ICD-10, and healthcare documentation standards
