Registered Nurse Crisis Triage

Job Summary

Offering a part-time remote opportunity, the Registered Nurse Crisis Triage will manage incoming catastrophic injury referral calls, gather vital case details, and ensure effective communication with clients while working 32 hours per week in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Triages catastrophic referral calls using critical reasoning and customer-specific guidelines to obtain necessary data
• Identifies life-threatening emergencies and recommends appropriate interventions while maintaining communication with clients and team members
• Assigns Field Case Managers for onsite visits and ensures that triage benchmarks are met and documented professionally

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
• Active unrestricted RN license issued in a state or territory of the United States required
• Experience in triaging and managing complex medical conditions
• Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations
