Registered Nurse Data Coordinator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Registered Nurse Data Coordinator will collect, validate, and submit clinical data to registries while analyzing reports to identify improvement opportunities in a multi-hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify patients in clinical registries using strict criteria and protocols
• Collect and validate data according to established registry definitions
• Analyze data and collaborate with clinical departments on performance improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare, or a related field required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred
• Three years of clinical experience or related research/registry experience required
• A diploma from an accredited nursing school or certification from an Allied Healthcare program with 5 years of experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree requirement
• An Associate's degree in Science, Healthcare, or a related field with an additional two years of experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree requirement
