Registered Nurse Digital Triage

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Overnight Digital Triage Registered Nurse will provide clinical support for patient communications, conduct phone assessments of clinical symptoms, and collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality patient care from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm to 7:30am ET.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and provide clinical support for incoming patient communications
• Conduct phone assessments of clinical symptoms to determine the best path of care
• Assist in the development of processes and systems for urgent care and virtual triage

Required qualifications

• Licensed RN with 2+ years of experience in clinical triage, preferably in an ER or primary care setting
• Active Nurse License Compact (NLC) and RN licenses in NY, NV, MI, MN, OR, CA, MA, CT, or IL are a plus
• Excellent knowledge of chronic disease states and complex medical conditions
• Experience in high acuity clinical environments (e.g., ED, ICU) is a plus
• Skilled in providing culturally appropriate education to patients and their families
