Registered Nurse Health Advocate

Job Summary

As a full-time Registered Nurse Health Advocate, this remote position is responsible for delivering high-quality, member-centered clinical advocacy, managing inbound member calls, providing education on medical conditions, and coordinating care while maintaining documentation and follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assess inbound member calls related to various healthcare issues, determining the best course of action
• Educate members on their medical conditions and available treatment options, fostering trust and relationship-building
• Coordinate care by facilitating communication between members, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, while managing appointments and resolving access issues

Required qualifications

• BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university
• Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State Registered Nurse license
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical and/or medical management experience, preferably with behavioral or mental health experience
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment
