Registered Nurse Healthcare Risk Manager
Job Summary
Supporting the Defense Health Agency's Clinical Support Division, the remote Registered Nurse Healthcare Risk Manager will manage healthcare quality data analysis, perform reviews of clinical cases, and process medical malpractice claims, leveraging clinical expertise to enhance quality improvement efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily support for healthcare quality data analysis and evaluation
- Perform reviews of active-duty death/disability cases and initiate clinical quality review processes
- Identify and process medical malpractice claims by legal outcome type and standard of care determinations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Management, or a Healthcare-related field
- Two years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management
- Current unencumbered RN licensure
- Experience with management of healthcare adverse events
- Certification in HRM (ASHRM) strongly preferred
