Registered Nurse Independent Reviewer

Job Summary

To support healthcare quality improvement, the part-time Registered Nurse Independent Reviewer will perform independent clinical reviews, manage multiple cases, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely for 20 hours per week during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent clinical reviews in accordance with contract requirements and evidence-based guidelines
• Review medical records and documentation to make objective clinical determinations
• Document findings accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing or related healthcare experience
• Experience reviewing medical records and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
