Registered Nurse Intake Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a dynamic care team, the part-time Registered Nurse Intake Coordinator will oversee the clinical enrollment process for members, guiding them through program placement and utilizing motivational interviewing techniques, all while working remotely with a schedule of Sunday-Thursday, 9am-5pm in their time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews member medical histories, lab results, and medications while following established intake protocols
• Collaborates with a cross-functional intake team to facilitate a seamless enrollment process for members
• Acts as a clinical resource, demonstrating effective patient care and adhering to standard operating procedures for member management

Required qualifications

• Currently active and unencumbered compact RN license, with additional state licenses preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in various healthcare systems
• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Experience in triage/intake, case/care management, or population health preferred
• Skilled in motivational interviewing and driving behavior change
