Registered Nurse Medical Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the admissions process, the full-time Registered Nurse Medical Coordinator will conduct thorough medical reviews for prospective clients, ensuring their medical appropriateness for treatment while collaborating with various teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for prospective clients, including vital signs, lab results, and medical histories
• Assess medical appropriateness for the level of care and consult with medical leadership on complex cases
• Communicate medical clearance decisions to the admissions team and maintain accurate documentation of reviews

Required qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active and unencumbered license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in eating disorder care and/or admissions/triage settings
• Strong understanding of medical indicators related to eating disorders and general medical stability
• Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Comfortable using technology and electronic health systems
