Registered Nurse Medical Reviewer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Registered Nurse Medical Reviewer will perform clinical medical record review and abstraction to support healthcare quality and compliance, applying established criteria and documenting findings accurately while managing multiple projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review and abstract medical and case management records according to project requirements and established criteria
- Document review findings clearly and objectively while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity
- Organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines, working independently with minimal supervision
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in relevant healthcare settings
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical record review or clinical auditing
- Technical aptitude and comfort with learning new systems and databases
