Registered Nurse Oncology Navigator

Job Summary

To support patients throughout their cancer journey, the full-time Remote Registered Nurse Oncology Navigator will provide triage, education, and clinical support via phone and email, conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating care coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and manage member health while addressing clinical issues and escalations
• Support members throughout the oncology care continuum, coordinating care and providing clinical assistance as needed
• Establish trusting relationships with members and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize care delivery

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required, BSN preferred
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in solid tumor oncology nursing
• Oncology-related certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire
• Compact and single-state licensure in New York and/or Illinois preferred
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is preferred
