Registered Nurse Oncology Navigator

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Registered Nurse Oncology Navigator will provide triage, support, and education to members throughout their cancer journey, managing clinical assessments and care coordination from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and facilitate end-of-life care discussions with members
• Coordinate care and provide clinical support throughout the oncology care continuum, addressing member needs promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and participate in case conferences to monitor member progress and optimize care delivery

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; BSN preferred
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in solid tumor oncology nursing
• Oncology-related certifications such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required or to be obtained within 2 years of hire
• Compact and single state licensure in New York and/or Illinois preferred
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is preferred
