Registered Nurse Patient Navigator
Job Summary
To support brain tumor patients and caregivers, the full-time Registered Nurse Patient Navigator will provide evidence-based information and resources remotely, helping individuals navigate treatment options, overcome barriers to care, and connect with supportive services.
Key responsibilities
- Empower patients by providing tools and information to make informed decisions about their care
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address barriers to quality care for underserved patients
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and unmet needs using Salesforce
Required qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3-5 years of clinical oncology or nurse navigation experience required; neuro-oncology experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare systems and medical terminology
- Experience working with neuro-oncology patients and families preferred
