Registered Nurse Quality Improvement Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient care delivery, the part-time Registered Nurse Quality Improvement Specialist will review and evaluate patient care documentation, assess compliance with healthcare regulatory standards, and identify opportunities for improvement while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare documentation to identify noncompliance with national and state standards
• Conduct audits and reviews of patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care outcomes

Required qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Three years of healthcare experience, with at least one year in home health
• Experience in quality improvement or compliance in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
