Job Summary
To enhance patient care delivery, the full-time Registered Nurse Quality Improvement Specialist will evaluate healthcare documentation for compliance with regulatory standards, conduct audits, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify improvement opportunities, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze healthcare documentation to identify noncompliance with national and state standards
- Conduct audits and reviews of patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with OASIS standards
- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality improvement efforts and audit findings to healthcare teams
Required qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Three years of healthcare experience, including one year in home health
- Experience in quality improvement or compliance in healthcare settings
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and OASIS coding practices
