Registered Nurse Reviewer

Job Summary

To support an ongoing project, the remote Registered Nurse Reviewer will perform clinical reviews and summaries for disability claims, ensuring timely report turnaround and adherence to client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of medical documentation, summarizing key details such as diagnoses, comorbid conditions, and relevant clinical information
• Provide clear conclusions regarding restrictions and limitations based on the medical records, ensuring they are easily understood by non-medical professionals
• Communicate with treating providers as necessary to gather additional information required for accurate assessments

Required qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Prior experience in commercial disability insurance or with a disability insurance carrier/TPA
• Diverse clinical background with strong understanding of medical terminology
• Ability to write professional and concise documentation free of acronyms and grammatical errors
• Familiarity with client-specific training materials and report formatting
