Registered Nurse School Nurse
Job Summary
To support the management of school health services, the part-time salaried Registered Nurse School Nurse Care Coordinator will develop care management processes, train school staff, and coordinate care for high acuity students while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Consults with school administrators to determine health goals and services for students
- Develops and maintains individual health care plans and emergency plans tailored to students' needs
- Collaborates with physicians, school staff, and families to address students' health and developmental needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- One to three years of experience in healthcare, preferably in community health, pediatrics, or mental health
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted state license required
- RN licensure must be obtained within the states served within 120 days of employment
