Registered Nurse - Senior Care

Job Summary

Providing innovative nursing care for assisted living and long-term care residents, the part-time hourly Registered Nurse - Senior Care will utilize two-way phone and video technology to manage day-to-day operations, coordinate clinical and operational components, and enhance patient outcomes through effective communication with healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents using telehealth technologies
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure quality care and effective implementation of nursing interventions
• Document clinical activities and coordinate with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and reduce emergency visits

Required qualifications

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, with a preference for long-term care or assisted living experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted state license; RN licensure required within 120 days of hire
• Comprehensive knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality programs; MDS certification preferred
• Completion of state-specific training and education required within 120 days of hire
