Registered Nurse Trainer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Nurse Trainer for a remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop training materials focused on mental health assessment, suicide prevention, and safety planning interventions
• Facilitate engaging classroom and virtual training sessions for multidisciplinary VA staff
• Evaluate training effectiveness and collaborate with VA leadership to align programs with national standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• 3-5 years of experience in mental health and suicide prevention, preferably within the VA healthcare system
• Direct experience with safety planning interventions and suicide risk assessment protocols
• Experience developing and facilitating both in-person and telehealth training programs
