Registered Nurse Triage

Job Summary

Working part-time on a set schedule, the Clinical Triage Nurse, RN will assess inbound patient calls, provide medical advice, and coordinate care with the healthcare team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritizes and responds to inbound calls and voicemails, providing medical advice and determining the level of care needed
• Conducts thorough assessments of patients' symptoms and medical history, utilizing evidence-based guidelines for triage prioritization
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure patient needs are met and follows up on care plans and test results

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program as a Registered Nurse
• Current valid RN license with the ability to obtain and maintain licensure in all service states within 6 months of hire
• Satisfactory completion of required nursing continuing education requirements
• Strong comprehension of medical terminology and pharmaceuticals
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
