Registered Nurse Triage Guide

Job Summary

Providing telephonic clinical triage and support, the full-time Registered Nurse Triage Guide will engage with members to ensure they receive appropriate care while working remotely during night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with members via telephone and patient portal to provide clinical advice and direct them to the appropriate level of care
• Connect members with necessary resources, including primary care and urgent care services
• Monitor clinical chat queues and respond to inbound patient messages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Required qualifications

• An active, unencumbered Compact RN license or willingness to obtain additional state licenses
• A minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience
• Prior clinical triage experience in an Emergency Department, ICU, Primary Care, or Telephonic Triage setting
• Experience with telehealth services
• Ability to quickly master electronic medical records (EMR) and remote communication tools
