Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant (Weekend).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather clinical information to render coverage determinations and recommendations
• Communicate with providers to facilitate care and identify referral opportunities
• Promote quality and effectiveness of healthcare services and meet productivity expectations

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active, unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence
• Minimum Diploma RN acceptable; Associate degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of clinical experience in acute or post-acute settings
• 1+ years of Utilization Management / Care Management experience
