Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather clinical information to make coverage determinations and recommendations
• Communicate with providers to facilitate care and identify referral opportunities
• Promote quality and effectiveness of healthcare services and consult on utilization management

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence
• Minimum education: Diploma RN acceptable; Associate degree/BSN preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with 1+ years in Utilization Management/Care Management
• 1+ years of clinical experience in an acute or post-acute setting
• May require additional Nursing Licenses as needed
