Registered Pharmacist Manager
Job Summary
Leading a multidisciplinary team, the remote Manager, Clinical Review and Quality Assurance will oversee the prior authorization ecosystem, ensuring clinical strategy, quality assurance, and technical management are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor and unify a high-performing team across quality assurance, medication policy, and business analysis
- Direct the prior authorization quality assurance program, including interrater reliability audits and team performance reviews
- Lead platform strategy, technical enhancements, and clinical rule configuration for optimal operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license
- 10+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy within Health Plan or PBM environments
- 5+ years of experience supporting prior authorization platforms and rule configuration
- Strong background in quality assurance best practices and regulatory compliance
