Job Summary

To support the Sleep Center, the part-time temporary Registered Polysomnographic Technologist will administer sleep studies, monitor patient data, and provide support for sleep-related treatments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Monitors brain waves, eye movements, and breathing variables during sleep using specialized equipment
  • Explains sleep study procedures to patients and prepares equipment for testing
  • Generates accurate reports by analyzing sleep data and ensures patient safety during procedures
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification by a nationally recognized board, holding either the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office
