Registration and Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient services, the full-time remote Registration and Financial Resolution Specialist will manage communications with patients and insurance companies, ensuring accurate registration, insurance verification, and efficient resolution of patient accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for patient registration and intake, gathering necessary demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility and educate patients on billing and payment options while resolving account discrepancies
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with best practices and protocols

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing preferred
• Over one year of experience in a customer service or client relations role
• Experience in an office or hospital environment, with high volume call center experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively
