Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient services, the full-time remote Registration & Financial Resolution Specialist will manage communications with patients and insurance companies, ensuring accurate registration, insurance verification, and resolution of patient accounts while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and input patient demographic and financial information while maintaining confidentiality
• Verify insurance eligibility and manage patient account resolutions through payments or payment plans
• Provide accurate information and support to patients regarding their services and billing inquiries

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare billing is preferred
• Over one year of experience in a customer service or client relations role
• Experience in an office or hospital environment, with high volume call center experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with HCA/Parallon IT systems is preferred
