Job Summary

Managing and supporting responses to federal and state regulatory examinations, the full-time Regulatory Affairs Counsel will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while collaborating with business stakeholders and the Chief Compliance Officer in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate responses to regulatory examinations, audits, and information requests from federal and state agencies
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements through independent research and evaluation
  • Track examination findings and manage corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending experience, with at least 1 year in a regulatory examination or audit-focused role
  • Experience managing or supporting regulatory examinations conducted by agencies such as state regulators or the CFPB
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems, preferably Encompass
  • Knowledge of consumer mortgage lending laws and regulations, including TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, ECOA, and HMDA
  • Skilled at navigating dynamic regulatory environments
