Regulatory Affairs Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Affairs / Product Stewardship Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage various regulatory affairs and product stewardship projects
• Prepare, review, and submit regulatory application documents in compliance with Japanese and international standards
• Act as a subject matter expert for Japanese regulatory requirements and support business development through industry events and client meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Sciences, Toxicology, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in regulatory affairs or related areas
• In-depth knowledge of Japanese chemicals regulations (e.g., CSCL, GHS/ISHL)
• Fluent in Japanese (native or equivalent) and excellent English communication skills
• Direct experience with Japanese authorities and international work experience preferred
