Regulatory Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Regulatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA compliance related to employee benefits
• Negotiate benefit plan documents and provide strategic legal counsel on product offerings and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and manage outside counsel relationships

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership
• 5-8+ years of legal experience focused on ERISA/employee benefits law
• Knowledge of federal employee benefits law, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA
• Understanding of healthcare privacy and data security law
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
