Regulatory Attorney (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Attorney to support legal and compliance matters related to various federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders on complex regulatory issues, particularly concerning AI, IP, and healthcare regulations
• Lead the legal team in interpreting AI laws and monitor legislative developments impacting the business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and provide timely guidance on regulatory inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• 8-10 years of experience in a large law firm or in-house setting
• Experience with legal issues related to AI guidelines in technology, insurance, or healthcare
• Understanding of regulations concerning AI, IP, Medicare, Medicaid, and privacy/data rights
• Strong research skills to identify relevant laws affecting business units
