Regulatory Bioinformatics Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Bioinformatician to provide bioinformatics and genomics project support to federal clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and review literature to gather targeted clinical or scientific information
• Analyze and interpret high-throughput genomic, transcriptomic, and/or proteomic data
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to design, develop, and validate workflows and custom scripts

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Molecular Biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or a related field
• Over 5 years of technical experience in research laboratories or environments
• Experience with high-throughput analysis pipelines for genomics, transcriptomics, and/or proteomics
• Proficiency in Unix (Linux) systems and scripting in one or more programming languages (Perl, Python, R, Java, C/C++)
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
