Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Job Summary

To support the quality assurance of tax calculation engines, the full-time remote Regulatory Compliance Engineer will validate the accuracy of tax rules, develop testing scenarios, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the tax content quality assurance process
• Create and review test scenarios to validate content changes for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance programs and audits

Required qualifications

• Genuine interest in indirect tax compliance
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python
• Interest in developing AI tools for process improvement
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
