Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support regulatory compliance efforts, the full-time Regulatory Compliance Specialist will establish policies and procedures, conduct legal research, and monitor audits while enjoying the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and implement standard policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with laws and contractual obligations
• Conduct state-specific legal research and monitor changes to mitigate risks and achieve compliance
• Support data collection for regulatory filings and develop compliance communications for business segments

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3+ years of experience in a regulatory, privacy, or compliance role within government, legal, health care, managed care, or health insurance environments
• 2+ years of experience communicating complex information to various stakeholders
• 2+ years of experience working independently and researching regulations
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
