Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting project permit tracking and regulatory compliance, the remote Permitting / Regulatory Compliance Specialist will manage compliance monitoring, incentive tracking, and construction permitting coordination functions for selected projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a tracking matrix of permits, approvals, licenses, and compliance milestones for projects
• Verify the status of regulatory approvals and flag compliance gaps to project leadership
• Support tax- and incentive-related activities to maximize eligible benefits and ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, construction management, public administration, or related field, or equivalent with 8+ years of related work experience
• Experience with construction permitting, compliance tracking, or regulatory coordination
• Strong ability to manage permit matrices, logs, and compliance documentation
• Familiarity with interactions among contractors, owners, and permitting authorities
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
