Regulatory Coordinator

Job Summary

Managing compliance and reporting for Medicare and other governmental payment policies, the full-time salaried Regulatory Coordinator will analyze financial data, support cost report submissions, and collaborate with external consultants and auditors in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Medicare and governmental payment policies, compliance, and reporting for hospital and clinic entities
• Analyze internal and external data and perform research on Medicare and other payer regulations
• Manage data support for annual Medicare/Medicaid/BlueCross cost report submissions to ensure accurate reimbursements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a master's degree in a related field
• Five to ten years of experience in healthcare finance, with at least four years focused on Medicare
• High level of experience with Medicare, including cost report preparation and patient revenue accounting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial processes
• Computer proficiency and a high degree of accuracy in work
