Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on consumer protection laws and lending regulations
• Support regulatory inquiries and advise on industry requirements for lending and financial services
• Analyze impact of new rules, identify risk areas, and develop risk management systems

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience in law firm, financial services regulatory agency, or inhouse
• Experience with FinTech, lending, and banking issues
• Prior relationships with relevant regulators and active membership in Bar association
• Comfort with technology and understanding of its application to business and regulatory problems
• JD and membership in Bar of resident state and/or California Bar or New York Bar
