Regulatory Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel to provide legal support for compliance with mortgage lending laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal analysis and advice on federal and state mortgage lending laws and regulations
• Lead regulatory change management and advise on implementation strategies
• Collaborate on new business initiatives and assess regulatory risks

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal or regulatory compliance experience in the banking or mortgage industry preferred
• Experience advising on consumer mortgage lending laws and regulations
• Familiarity with loan origination systems and compliance tools preferred
