Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Lending Regulatory Counsel on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on consumer protection laws and lending regulations
• Support regulatory inquiries and analyze impact of new rules and regulations
• Identify risk areas and develop procedures to manage them at product and enterprise levels

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience in lending advisory, financial services regulatory agency, or inhouse legal role
• Experience with FinTech, lending, and banking issues
• Prior relationships with regulators and knowledge of relevant federal and state agencies
• Active membership in Bar association of resident state or California/New York Bar
• Comfort with technology and understanding of its application to business and regulatory challenges
