Regulatory Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

Serving as a trusted legal advisor, the remote Regulatory Counsel (State Licensed) will manage regulatory compliance across multiple portfolio companies, ensuring adherence to FDA, FTC, and other applicable laws while reviewing product labels, marketing materials, and supporting new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Review product labels, packaging, advertising claims, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance
• Advise on dietary supplement, food, beverage, cosmetic, and consumer health regulations while supporting new product development
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide training and guidance to business partners on compliance matters

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3-5 years of legal experience following law school
• Experience in FDA, FTC, advertising law, and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of FDA and FTC regulations, including labeling and advertising compliance
