Regulatory Nutrition Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting regulatory compliance, the full-time Regulatory Nutrition Specialist will review and approve food product labels, ensure adherence to FDA and USDA regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and approve food product labels, including ingredient statements and nutrition facts panels
• Ensure compliance with U.S. FDA and USDA labeling regulations and internal standards
• Conduct detailed reviews of packaging and advertising to validate product claims and regulatory accuracy

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in food science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific discipline preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or food labeling within CPG or food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA food labeling regulations and nutrition labeling compliance
• Experience with labeling systems such as SAP, Genesis, or Optiva is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard regulatory/labeling software systems
