Job Summary
Supporting a growing portfolio of U.S. and foreign clients, the full-time Regulatory Specialist - Food Compliance will manage Low-Acid and Acidified Canned Food regulatory compliance projects, prepare and submit regulatory filings, and serve as the primary liaison between clients and regulatory agencies in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage LACF and acidified food compliance projects for domestic and international manufacturers
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory filings and documentation to ensure FDA compliance
- Provide regulatory guidance and project updates to clients through various communication methods
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in science (food science, biochemistry, biology) or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in the compliance and regulatory field
- Broad knowledge of food-processing operations through training or work experience
- Knowledge and/or training in conducting or reviewing Heat Penetration, Temperature Distribution, and Aseptic Validation tests
- Deep understanding of microbiology, thermal processing, and preventive controls, supported by certifications and published research
